Within a 15-minute drive you can visit the seal centre in Norddeich, the Schloß Lütetsburger manor house and park and the Störtebeker tower in Marienhafe. The moor musem on Moordorf, the Kunsthalle art gallery in Emden, and the town of Greetsiekm from which you can take cutter boat trips, all lie just over 30 minutes away. Alternatively, explore the natural beauty of the region and take a walk along the coast, go cycling past the nearby windmills or take boat trips to the nearby islands of Norderney, Juist or Baltrum.
